Julia joined Simon & Schuster in 2003 and has been integral to our publicity efforts ever since. She is a savvy strategist, and has overseen bestsellers by Walter Isaacson, Mary Trump, and Bob Woodward. Among the other authors she’s championed are David McCullough, Doris Kearns Goodwin, Jimmy Carter, Hillary Rodham Clinton, Naomi Klein, David Maraniss, Jonathan Alter, Nicholson Baker, Taylor Branch, Carrie Fisher, Diane von Furstenberg, Jay Shetty, They Might Be Giants, Herman Wouk, Marisa Silver, and many others. Julia oversees a team of skilled publicists and marketers that consistently craft creative, attention-getting campaigns for our fiction and nonfiction titles. She is a graduate of Earlham College.
