SUSAN MOLDOW

PUBLISHER AND PRESIDENT OF THE SCRIBNER PUBLISHING GROUP

Ms. Moldow took over as Touchstone publisher in fall 2013. With Touchstone, she has overseen the publication of breakout successes HYPERBOLE AND A HALF by Allie Brosh, THE GIRLS OF ATOMIC CITY by Denise Kiernan, I AM HAVING SO MUCH FUN HERE WITHOUT YOU by Courtney Maum, and LIFE IN MOTION by Misty Copeland; as well as perennial bestselling authors Philippa Gregory and J. A. Jance.

Ms. Moldow was Scribner's publisher from May 1994 to fall 2012. During her tenure at Scribner, the venerable imprint added titles of great and lasting value from authors such as Stephen King, Kathy Reichs, Andrew Solomon, Colm Tóibín, and Jeannette Walls, to its stellar backlist, which features Richard Adams, Margaret Mitchell, Annie Proulx, THE JOY OF COOKING, and the classic works of Ernest Hemingway and F. Scott Fitzgerald. Prior to joining Scribner, Ms. Moldow served as vice president, associate publisher and editor-in-chief of the HarperCollins trade division. Previously, she was vice president and editor-in-chief of the Doubleday division of Bantam Doubleday Dell.

David Falk

VICE PRESIDENT AND ASSOCIATE PUBLISHER

David has been with Touchstone since 2009. He oversees all publishing office activities and the marketing of all new Touchstone titles, as well as the backlist publishing program, and acts as liaison between editorial, marketing, and the Simon & Schuster sales force. David began his career as a bookseller in the late 1980s, prior to joining Touchstone he served as Director of National Accounts for Houghton Mifflin. Previously, he was a senior buyer with Baker & Taylor, and a superstore manager with Barnes & Noble.

Over the years he has worked on the successful launches of a wide range of books including THE KITCHEN HOUSE by Kathleen Grissom, BRUCE by Peter Carlin, THE GIRLS OF ATOMIC CITY by Denise Kiernan, FAST FOOD NATION by Eric Schlosser, BEAUTIFUL BOY by David Sheff, THE WORST HARD TIME by Tim Egan, INTERPRETER OF MALADIES by Jhumpa Lahiri, along with a wide range of bestselling fiction, celebrity biography, diet and health titles including the New Atkins franchise, and other commercial non-fiction.

TARA PARSONS

Editor-In-Chief

Tara Parsons was named Editor-in-Chief of Touchstone Books in January of 2016. She is responsible for shaping Touchstone’s list and overseeing the editorial department, in addition to acquiring and editing her own list of commercial fiction. Her upcoming titles include anticipated new books: INK AND BONE by Lisa Unger, PLEASE ENJOY YOUR HAPPINESS by Paul Brinkley-Rogers, and THE SCRIBE OF SIENA by Melodie Winawer.

Tara has also served as Editorial Director at Amazon Publishing, Mira Books, and HQN Books, and began her career at Simon & Schuster’s eponymous imprint. In her years in the industry, Ms. Parsons has overseen the publication of many bestsellers from such diverse authors as Kristan Higgins, Catherine Ryan Hyde, Susan Wiggs, Mary Kubica, Robyn Carr, Susan Mallery, Catherine McKenzie, and Jason Mott.

VICE PRESIDENT AND EXECUTIVE EDITOR

In April 2016, Trish Todd rejoined Touchstone, her home for fifteen years before a five-year stay at the Simon & Schuster imprint. She acquires literary and book club fiction as well as memoir, psychology, biography, upmarket practical nonfiction, lifestyle, interior design, and humor. Her fiction list includes numerous books by #1 New York Times bestselling author Philippa Gregory and other bestsellers and book club favorites including Carol Anshaw’s Carry the One, Kathleen Grissom’s The Kitchen House and Glory over Everything, Laura McBride’s We Are Called to Rise and ‘Round Midnight, PEN/Hemingway Award Finalist Vaddey Ratner’s In the Shadow of the Banyan and Music of the Ghosts, and Maureen Sherry’s Opening Belle (optioned by Reese Witherspoon).

Nonfiction projects she has acquired include an upcoming lifestyle book by Reese Witherspoon and the New York Times bestsellers F*ck Feelings by Dr. Michael I. Bennett and Sarah Bennett; Domino: Your Guide to a Stylish Home; Elements of Style by Erin Gates; the Madame Chic books by Jennifer L. Lauren Spiegel began her publishing career at Touchstone in 2006. Lauren is looking for humor, pop culture, narrative nonfiction, memoir, illustrated books, as well as a limited number of commercial fiction titles.

Cara Bedick acquires and edits non-fiction titles with a focus in the following: health and wellness, diet, cooking lifestyle, narrative & memoir, self-help, parenting, education, and science. She has been known to go the extra mile for blurbs (Gloria Steinem on GIRL UP by Laura Bates); hold impromptu tastings for her cooking and lifestyle authors’ recipes (recent winner: the radicchio recipes in the upcoming SUPER TUSCAN by Gabriele Corcos and Debi Mazar); and attempt her diet authors’ programs no matter how challenging (coming in January 2018: lifestyle primer ATKINS: EAT RIGHT, NOT LESS; international sensation THE LITTLE BOOK OF BIG WEIGHT LOSS, and THE ECONOMISTS’ DIET).

KAITLiN OLSON

ASSISTANT EDITOR

Kaitlin Olson joined Touchstone in April 2016 to assist Trish Todd and build her own list of titles. She is interested in psychological suspense, upmarket women’s fiction, historical fiction, narrative non-fiction and memoir. Her upcoming titles include THE LAST EQUATION OF ISAAC SEVERY by Nova Jacobs and PLAYING WITH MATCHES by Hannah Orenstein. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Stanford University and began her career at the Simon & Schuster imprint.

REBECCA STROBEL

Publishing Assistant

Rebecca joined the Touchstone team in September of 2017 as an assistant to Lauren Spiegel and Susan Moldow. Previously, Rebecca was an editorial assistant at the Blue Rider Press and Plume imprints of Penguin Random House. She is interested in memoir, essay collections, humor, popular culture, and issue-driven nonfiction.

Lara Blackman

EDITORIAL ASSISTANT

Lara graduated magna cum laude from New York University’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study, where she crafted a concentration in nonfiction and American history. She assists Matthew Benjamin with his projects and is interested in narrative nonfiction, literary fiction, and pop culture.

ISABELLA BETITA

EDITORIAL ASSISTANT

Isabella graduated from Brown University with degrees in English and Anthropology. She assists Tara Parsons and is interested in suspense, memoir, and literary and commercial fiction.

AMANDA MULHOLLAND

Associate Managing Editor

Amanda oversees the entire production process from manuscript to finished book for the Touchstone imprint. She began her career with the company in 2015 as an assistant for North Star Way Books, and she most recently assisted the managing editor for the S&S imprint. She graduated from Purchase College in May 2013.

JULIE FICKS

MANAGING EDITORIAL ASSISTANT

Julie graduated from Purchase College with a degree in Literature. While at Purchase, she interned with Nicole Aragi and Duvall Osteen at Aragi Inc. After graduating, she worked for PublicAffairs books and Weinstein Books at the Perseus Books Group. Julie loves literary fiction, narrative nonfiction, graphic novels and poetry.

VICE PRESIDENT AND DIRECTOR OF PUBLICITY

Brian is a book publicity veteran who joined Touchstone in 2013 as Director of Publicity. Over the years, he’s orchestrated bestselling campaigns for authors such as Laura Bush, Steve Martin, Derek Jeter, and Jeannette Walls. In addition to his duties for Touchstone, he serves at the Director of Publicity for Scribner.

SHIDA CARR

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF PUBLICITY

Shida began her publishing career with Touchstone in 2000 working as a publicist across both fiction and nonfiction lists. Over the following seventeen years she has had the pleasure of working with Charlamagne tha God, Harriet Lerner, R.L. Stine, Artie Lange, Misty Copeland, Amanda Beard, Dominique Moceanu, Herschel Walker, Cary Elwes, Bethenny Frankel, Ray Lewis and Stan Lee. She is passionate about advocating great authors, books and exciting ways to promote their work.

JESSICA ROTH

PUBLICITY MANAGER

Jessica joined Touchstone in 2007. She has worked with bestselling authors including Allie Brosh, Billy Idol, Philippa Gregory, and J.A. Jance, as well as critically acclaimed debut novelists such as Courtney Maum and John Kenney.

COURTNEY BRACH

Associate Publicist

Courtney joined Touchstone in 2013 after interning at Grove/Atlantic, Inc. and the New York Public Library. She works with Nancy Pearl, Joseph A. Califano, and a variety of lifestyle and fiction authors. She loves British and Irish fiction.

SYDNEY MORRIS

PUBLICITY ASSISTANT

Sydney joined Touchstone in May 2017. A graduate of Fordham University, she has worked with bestselling authors, such as Denise Kiernan, Philippa Gregory, Gabriele Corcos, and Debi Mazar. She assists Jessica Roth with her projects and primarily enjoys self-help, memoirs, and a wide range of fiction.

MEREDITH VILARELLO

Associate Marketing Director

Meredith joined Simon & Schuster in March 2010. Prior to that, she worked on marketing craft, art, and photography instruction titles at the Crown Publishing Group, sales & marketing at the Overlook Press, and editorial acquisitions at Random House Audio & Large Print. In her current role at S&S, Meredith has managed integrated and digital marketing campaigns for such authors as Bethenny Frankel, Mayim Bialik, Allie Brosh, Philippa Gregory, and more. Meredith graduated from Middlebury College with a BA in English and also holds an MA in Irish Studies from the National University of Ireland, Galway.

Kelsey Manning

Digital Marketing Manager

Kelsey is the voice of Touchstone on social media (Follow us @touchstonebooks!) and oversees digital marketing efforts for the imprint, from author branding and social content to influencer outreach and digital advertising. In her time at Touchstone she has worked on New York Times bestseller campaigns for Charlamagne tha God, Philippa Gregory, Anna Kendrick, and more. Prior to Touchstone she worked at HarperCollins, Hachette, and for former Cosmopolitan Editor-in-Chief and bestselling author Kate White. Kelsey is also a successful freelance writer whose work has appeared on Refinery 29, Fast Company, TIME, Business Insider, and more.

Isabel DASilva

Publishing and Marketing Assistant

Isabel graduated from Goucher College in 2016 with a degree in English literature. She joined Touchstone in March 2017, having previously worked with Bloomsbury Publishing, BookReporter.com, and W. W. Norton & Company. She loves literary fiction and narrative nonfiction.

PAUL O'HALLORAN

VICE PRESIDENT, DIRECTOR OF SUBSIDIARY RIGHTS

Paul oversees international and domestic subsidiary rights licensing for the Gallery Publishing Group and the Scribner Publishing Group, after having worked in a number of subsidiary rights positions since joining Simon & Schuster in 1995. Prior to joining Simon & Schuster, he was rights director for The Free Press and the Putnam Berkley Group and has worked for Warner Books, Houghton Mifflin and Gale Research.

CORDIA LEUNG

Subsidiary Rights Associate

Cordia licenses international and domestic subsidiary rights for Touchstone and Scribner. Prior to joining Simon & Schuster in 2017, she worked in subsidiary rights at Abrams Books, including on the international success of the DIARY OF A WIMPY KID series. She enjoys literary fiction, fantasy, narrative nonfiction, and graduated magna cum laude from the University of California, San Diego.

CHERLYNNE LI

SENIOR ART DIRECTOR

Cherlynne has more than twenty years of experience creating and overseeing the design and production of jackets and covers for Touchstone’s diverse list. She earned her BFA in Communication Design from the Parsons School of Design. Her work has also been published in Print, New York Book Show, Communication Arts and Society of Illustrators.
