Ghjulia joined Gallery Books in 2024, where she focuses on romance, romantasy, and commercial fiction with book club appeal. Her taste runs from heartwarming and cozy to haunting and dark, and she’s especially drawn to stories that deliver big feelings. She has a soft spot for unexpected genre mashups that stick the landing.
In romance, she acquires contemporary, rom-com, dark, paranormal and horror-infused stories. In romantasy, she looks for accessible, immersive tales with seamless world-building and surprising twists. Her favorite tropes include rivals-to-lovers, love triangles, forced proximity, and opposites attract. When it comes to commercial fiction, she’s fond of high concepts and books that incorporate genre elements or a speculative twist. She loves stories about complicated relationships—especially told through a queer or woman’s lens—and novels that capture the messiness of being human. Overall, she's eager to find stories centered around and by diverse voices.
Her upcoming titles include Love’s a Witch, a cozy romantasy by New York Times bestselling author Tricia O’Malley; See You at the Summit, a queer romance by USA Today bestselling author Jordyn Taylor; Campus Drivers, a bestselling French New Adult series by C.S. Quill with a Prime Video adaptation in development; A Date with Death, a cozy horror rom-com by Kelly Creagh; and a dark romance by Avina St. Graves.
Ghjulia was previously at HarperCollins, where she worked with a wide range of authors including USA Today bestsellers Kate Myers and Nicole Avant. She got her start in publishing in France, interning at Gallimard, Grasset, and Allary Éditions, and holds a BA in Art History and Literature, and a MA in Humanities and Publishing from Paris Panthéon-Sorbonne. Ghjulia is fluent in French and Italian, and in her free time, she can usually be found watching K-dramas or reading fanfiction.
