Meet the team

Hanna Preston joined Gallery Books and 13A in October 2023. Prior to joining Gallery, she interned at FinePrint Literary Management and worked as a bookseller at an independent bookstore. She graduated with an MA in English from the University of Virginia in May 2023 following the completion of her BA in English and anthropology from UVA the previous year, where she also held multiple editorial positions at the independent student newspaper, The Cavalier Daily. She also completed work experience as an editorial intern at the London-based Biteback Publishing.

Hanna is interested in narrative and reported nonfiction, across topics including travel, food, politics, pop culture, history, and comedy, from compelling and accessible voices. She supports Pamela Cannon and Charles Suitt.
