Meet the team

Matt Attanasio joined Gallery Books in 2024. Prior to joining, he dedicated himself to his lifelong love of books by working with libraries, a literary center, and two literary agencies. Following his time in the Spring 2022 Writers House Internship Program, Matt assisted at a boutique literary agency. He graduated from Ithaca College with Honors in 2021, where he studied English and German. Matt reads broadly in fiction and nonfiction but is especially drawn to all things pop culture, LGBTQ+ themes, and anything with a one-of-a-kind voice. He supports James Melia and Molly Gregory.
