Karintha Parker, Associate Publicist

Karintha is an associate publicist at Saga Press. A graduate of Penn State and Cardozo School of Law, she joins the team from her position at HarperCollins where she helped work on the recent campaigns for Barbara Kingsolver and Ann Patchett as well as Justin C. Key and Tembe Denton-Hurst. Her love affair with fantasy began with a junior high assignment to read “The Ones Who Walk Away from The Omelas” by Ursula K. Le Guin, and she’s been chasing texts that combine her favorite things—imagined worlds and philosophical conundrums—ever since. She’s drawn to speculative novels with big messages and characters you’d follow over a cliff, especially those written by people of color like The Fifth Season by N.K. Jemisin, The Only Good Indians by Stephen Graham Jones and When The Moon Was Ours by Anna-Marie McLemore.
